Zeekr has begun vehicle deliveries in Europe, after announcing its strategy to enter the region in April of this year.

On December 9, Zeekr delivered the first European version of the Zeekr 001 electric vehicle in the Netherlands, marking the official start of the company’s deliveries in Europe, it said today.

Zeekr unveiled its European strategy on April 18, and the first models available there would be the flagship Zeekr 001 shooting brake and the Zeekr X urban SUV.

On June 27, Zeekr announced that it began pre-sales of the Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X in Europe with starting prices of €59,490 ($64,060), and €44,990, respectively.

The two models will go on sale first in Sweden and the Netherlands, with first deliveries expected to begin within the year, Zeekr said at the time.

The first European shipments of the Zeekr 001 to the Netherlands set sail on August 25, and on September 17, the first European shipments of the Zeekr X began being sent to Europe.

Zeekr will be present in a cumulative total of six European countries by 2024, and it expects its international presence to reach eight countries by 2025, the company previously said.

Zeekr will open a Zeekr Center in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on December 14, it said. On November 16, the first Zeekr Center store in Europe opened in Stockholm, Sweden.

In addition to Europe, Zeekr is expanding into the Middle East and Central Asia, entering Israel, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kazakhstan.

Zeekr delivered a record 13,104 vehicles in November, according to data released by the company on December 1.

In the January-November period, Zeekr delivered 105,209 vehicles, up 73.6 percent year-on-year.
