By the end of 2026, Xpeng‘s products will cover the price range of RMB 100,000 to 500,000 yuan, from compact to large models.

Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) today reported fourth quarter 2024 financial results and held an analyst call afterwards.

Below are live updates from the call, with the most recent being at the top.

Making humanoid robots is more difficult than cars. For an AI car, it can be driven by a driver even without AI capabilities, whereas a humanoid robot cannot be used without AI capabilities.

By 2026, Xpeng’s flying cars and humanoid robots will begin mass production to some extent.

Xpeng will be one of the first companies in China, if not the world, to start mass production of humanoid robots.

Xpeng believes the company will steadily move toward profitability in the fourth quarter of this year while maintaining its investment in AI R&D.

Xpeng has three growth curves: AI cars, overseas markets, and deeper integration of humanoid robots and the automotive business.

Xpeng expects vehicle margin to continue to improve this year as technology cost reductions advance and greater scale effects are realized.

Xpeng hopes to bring the company’s high-level AI smart driving capabilities to more countries in 2026 and beyond, if local regulations allow.

In 2025, Xpeng will establish a new R&D center to develop and test Turing AI smart driving features overseas.

In 2024, Xpeng’s overseas sales surpassed 20,000 units, making it the No. 1 exporter among China’s new car brands.

Xpeng’s goal for its overseas business in 2025 is to more than double its sales and establish more than 300 sales and service outlets worldwide.

In the second half of this year, Xpeng plans to deliver a number of new products, including battery electric vehicle (BEV) models and the Kunpeng Super Hybrid models.

Xpeng has opened its styling center in Shanghai and is in the process of significantly expanding its staff.

By the end of 2026, Xpeng’s products will cover the price range of RMB 100,000 to 500,000 yuan, from compact to large models.

The big increase in Xpeng store visitors following the launch of the 2025 G6 and G9 models has led to a significant increase in demand for the company’s entire lineup.

Starting with the P7+, all of Xpeng’s new products, including the just-launched 2025 G6 and G9, will be equipped with the industry-leading, free pure vision smart driving systems.

By 2026, Xpeng is mass-producing models at scale that support L4 unmanned driving in low-speed scenarios.

AI will drive a huge change in the automotive industry, accelerating the realization of L3 and L4 autonomous driving.

In the second half of this year, Xpeng will be the first in China to realize the software capability and experience of L3 intelligent driving.

Xpeng will mass-produce its own Turing smart driving chip this year, and it’s going very well so far.

Xpeng reports smaller net loss while gross margin declines
