Wait times for both the ES7 SUV and ET7 sedan have turned into 5-6 weeks today, compared to 4-5 weeks for both of them previously.

Two Nio (NYSE: NIO) models saw slightly longer wait times, the first time that information has changed since late October.

Wait times for both the ES7 SUV and ET7 sedan became 5-6 weeks today, and previously they were both 4-5 weeks, information monitored by CnEVPost shows.

Nio is currently selling the ES8, ES7, ES6, EC7, EC6, ET7, ET5, and ET5 Touring, with the first five being SUVs and the last three sedans.

Except for the ES7 and ET7, the wait times for all other models remain unchanged at 2-3 weeks.

The last change in Nio’s vehicle wait time was on October 24, when the ES8 and EC7 were both shortened from 3-4 weeks to 2-3 weeks.

The ES8 and EC7 are currently the highest-priced Nio models, with starting prices of RMB 498,000 ($69,400) and RMB 458,000, respectively, including the battery.

The ES7 starts at RMB 438,000 and the ET7 at RMB 428,000, the EC6 at RMB 358,000 and the ES6 at RMB 338,000, and the ET5 and ET5 Touring both at RMB 298,000.

Nio’s vehicles are produced at two plants in Hefei, Anhui province in eastern China, which were built jointly by the electric vehicle (EV) maker and Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group (JAC), but were previously the property of JAC.

Nio became the buyer of two JAC asset packages containing the two plants for RMB 3.16 billion, according to December 5 statements by the two companies.

The company entered China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) credit information management system for vehicle manufacturers earlier this month, meaning it will be able to produce vehicles under its own name.

A new catalog of models that would soon be allowed to be sold, released by MIIT on December 8, showed that Nio has refiled its eight models, with the biggest change being that the manufacturer’s name has been changed from JAC to Nio.
