GWM (HKG: 2333) delivered robust sales performance last month as overseas market sales hit new peaks.
The automaker sold 143,078 vehicles in October, its second-highest monthly total on record, trailing only December 2021’s 162,369 units, according to data released today.
This represents a 22.50 percent year-on-year increase and a 7.06 percent rise from September.
GWM’s overseas sales reached 57,158 units in October, marking the third consecutive month of record highs and accounting for 39.95 percent of total sales. This represents a 28.68 percent year-on-year increase and a 13.70 percent rise from September.

New energy vehicle (NEV) sales reached a record 46,155 units in October, up 44.06 percent year-on-year and 0.42 percent month-on-month, accounting for 32.26 percent of GWM’s monthly sales.

Sales continued to be primarily driven by the Haval brand, which sold 88,235 units in October, contributing 61.67 percent of the company’s monthly sales. This represents a 21.41 percent year-on-year increase and a 7.70 percent rise from September.

The Tank brand sold 22,306 units in October, marking its sixth consecutive month exceeding 20,000 units and contributing 15.59 percent to GWM’s monthly sales. This reflects a 16.64 percent year-on-year increase and a 4.03 percent rise from September.

The premium Wey brand sold 12,699 units in October, up 95.79 percent year-on-year and 15.17 percent month-on-month.

From January to October, GWM sold 1,066,436 vehicles, representing a 9.87 percent year-on-year increase.
Overseas sales reached 391,339 units, up 6.15 percent year-on-year, contributing 36.70 percent to GWM’s January-October sales.
The Haval brand sold 616,718 units from January to October, a 13.28 percent increase year-on-year, accounting for 57.83 percent of GWM’s sales during the same period.
The Tank brand sold 187,449 vehicles from January to October, a 0.79 percent year-on-year decrease, contributing 17.58 percent of GWM’s total sales during this period.
The Wey brand sold 76,292 vehicles from January to October, a 96.25 percent year-on-year increase, contributing 7.15 percent of GWM’s total sales during this period.
