Zeekr, the premium electric vehicle (EV) subsidiary of the Geely Holding Group, has begun pre-sales of the Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X in Germany, following pre-sales of the EVs in Sweden and the Netherlands.

The Zeekr 001 shooting brake is available for pre-sale in Germany for 59,990 euros ($64,807) and the Zeekr X urban SUV for 44,990 euros.

In China, the Zeekr 001 now starts at RMB 269,000 ($37,000) after significant discounts last month, and the Zeekr X at RMB 188,900. The higher prices for both models in Europe could be due to extra costs including transportation and taxes.

Zeekr’s first store in Germany will open in the first half of 2024, when vehicle deliveries will begin, according to the company.

On April 18, Zeekr unveiled its European strategy on the first day of the Shanghai auto show, saying its European headquarters would be in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

On June 27, Zeekr announced the start of pre-sales of the Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X in Sweden and the Netherlands, with deliveries to begin within the year.

In the Netherlands, Zeekr is offering three versions of the Zeekr 001 with starting prices of €59,490, €62,490, and €67,490, respectively, while the Zeekr X is offered in two versions with starting prices of €44,990, and €49,490, respectively.

In Sweden, the Zeekr 001 is available in three versions starting at SEK 677,000 ($61,470), SEK 707,000, and SEK 757,000, respectively. The Zeekr X is available in two versions in Sweden starting at SEK 550,000, and SEK 595,000, respectively.

On August 25, Zeekr said that the first Zeekr 001 vehicles built for European customers set sail in order to enable local deliveries in the fourth quarter.
